Optic Nerve - Pharaoh's Doorway
Pharoah's Doorway is the first ep Keith Tucker is doing for the
Delsin label. Keith Tucker hardly needs further introduction, as
being active since the very early days of Detroit techno & electro,
putting his stuff out through labels as 430West, Direct Beat and his
own Puzzlebox Records of course. The tracks as Optic Nerve bring the
more soultechno things he does, as being proved again with these deep
tracks. Another Plain goes straight energetic, with deep male &
female vocals and soulful strings. Aura (2000) is in typical
Tucker/Detroit techno blueprint sound, surrealistic and funky.
Pharoah's Doorway goes towards ambient techno, with it's soft
breakbeats, beautiful strings, and funky melodies. The future is here.
